Armonica is the brand name used by DI RUSSO firm for the production and markerting of sheep-gut strings.
After careful selection first quality material is washed, tanned and assembled. With special machines a "plait" is made which, after being treated, is dired, gauged and smoothed. The strings are then iven to musicians who test them during their performance. Only after these final tests are the strings ready to be put on the market.
Armonica strings are entirely made in Italy using selected material of exceptional quality.
